As part of a concerted effort to both tackle the issues ion U.S. Immigration and the COVID 19 Economic downturn, the colloquially known "start up visa" has been brought back from the brink of Trump Era cuts.

This visa category seeks to allow new classes of immigrants already within the united sates to begin and use their talent to start and become entrepreneurs. it is sort of an alterative to the Costly EB-5 program and will greatly expand the class of immigrants whom can begin to invest in the United States.

the category of individual eligible for this program are:

  • Those who are outside the United States, who have U.S.-based investors.

  • Those who are attending U.S. schools for education or accelerator programs for training, and are part of a startup cohort.

  • Those who are on work visas, such as the H-1B, L-1, O-1 and E-2 visas, who want to start their own companies with funding from U.S. investors.
